it’s mid-afternoon
I’ve been waiting outside
for almost an hour

Open the door
whatever you’re doing
the windows are closed
the curtain is obscured.

Open it now
I’m getting impatient
I’ll knock on the door
Once, twice, once more

I’m losing my patience
I’ll kick it open
one, two, three
just open the door!

You stupid idiot,
I’ve been angry with you
You can’t open the door
cause you’re not even there.
